Dulcimers Made by Robert W. Cluney
For years he wood was the medium of his art. He made toys, mirrors and other objects that he sold at craft shows.
When he found the dulcimer he played it immediately. The mountain dulcimer fit perfectly with the music he learned when he was young and the music he wrote himself later. A short time later he started making dulcimers himself. Most of the instruments were sold. His grandchildren, Deborah and Ewen are now learning to play the dulcimers that their grandfather made. Ewen plays bass guitar, Deborah plays viola and Jerry plays drums.
