City Dump

 By Robert W. Cluney

I look down on the great Santa Clara Valley, and see houses being built by the thousands, I think of all the trees that were cut down for lumber, all the forests that have been destroyed, and wonder how much was replaced by seedlings, and how long it will take before they too will be cut. Man the Builder is the Destroyer.

The wrecker that smashes the old building, turning usable lumber into splinters, to me is sinning against God and nature. Our whole society is cut to flow in one direction. To the City Dump.
